I wonder what birds like the brown marmorated stink bug. They seem to be moving in.
If you're a gardener many of these are beneficial to the garden. The worms especially.
I have managed a very large garden and a plant nursery now for over twenty years using only organic methods. Sometimes there is the odd white patch on a leaf, but that is it, and nobody but me ever seemed to notice.
My biggest problem is fleas.... any ideas that actually work?
@Heidi68 Very few things attack fleas, if you are finding it hard to keep your fleas alive it could be something wrong with your blood chemistry. Ask a friend to be host to one or two of them for a couple of days, and if they thrive OK then it would perhaps be best to see a doctor. (Your little friends are trying to tell you something.) Remember though, that you can not get your fleas from a dog, these are quite different and will die on a human, to obtain a healthy population you must obtain real human fleas from a friend, this is a common mistake that a lot of people make.
@Heidi68 Diatomaceous earth is supposed to work, and it is fun to say! Sorry to say I am still using the chemicals on the dog. We have lots of ticks around here.
@itsmedammit me too - ticks & fleas.... I am/have used Diatomaceous Earth - I just hate fleas....

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
