The last three blooms on this plant. There were four that opened last night. 7 blooms total on this transplant I made from the mother plant.

Spectacular!

They truly are wonderful plants. The plants themselves aren't that pretty, but when they flower it is something to watch.

Funny - I swear I almost caught a whiff when I first spied them! ❤

You would love the scent. I love to sit outside when they are opening up because the fragrance is so wonderful.

They really are a spectacular plant. I try to sit outside while they are opening up. You can actually watch them open up very slowly. The plant pulses each time the flower opens up a little more. Great way to spend an evening in my opinion.

@Redheadedgammy Surely you have seen some of the David Attenborough's plant films. Amazing footage.

Wow! Impressive! What is it?

The plant is called a Night Blooming Cereus. They only bloom at night, for one spectacular night. They are called a flowering ceroid cacti. I was given a baby plant 10 years ago and have since started 8 others from the original plant. They aren't a very pretty plant until they get the flowers. I just love them.

Those are absolutely lovely.

The fragrance of the flowers is something else too. Such a sweet and beautiful scent. They fill the air when they open up completely.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
