ISRG , looked promising , so I bought a small amount for a test run . The day after I bought , it dropped in price about $30 per share , and it hadn't been all that high priced to begin with . As of today , the price has increased to the point that , not only has it recapped , what I thought I had lost , it's even cleared a small amount of unrealized profit for me . And they've announced a three for one stock split to be voted on in October . Although a split , in and of itself , does not actually make a profit , it does tend to entice investors , so I rather suspect the price will climb a bit before October .
