There will always be some people who seem to embrace their own oppression. All I can figure is that it represents some combination of their own socialization and prioritizing one of their identities over another.
Shoot, I find it hard to fathom that almost half of American lgbtq people in some surveys still identify as Christian, despite all the awful oppressive shit Christianity has hurled at us for centuries. Go figure.
This no surprise anyway. The entire Drumpf administration has done nothing but horrible things to the lgbtq communities!
