What are some ways that you feel culture is wired against you personally that are bound to also be wired against others as well and you feel would merit cultural reform?

A society based on merit rather than on emotion like we do now.
I think if you clarify this people would be more than willing to answer you.

@Secular_Squirrel I don't think my merit and yours meant the same thing? lol
I meant values as a person - not what maybe society currently values.
I like to include people based on things I value in them - and my values of them may be very different from society's today.
I've kicked around the idea of the "Atheist Commune" with friends here from time to time. So far we have people who would do child care in one form or another/ Doctors and nurses/ people who farm and tend animals and more.
It's an interesting societal concept because even as Atheists we seldom fit in. And frankly the fainting goats alone make it a worthwhile plan. 
Also so far it's in New Zealand or Canada because they seem way less bitey (And Canada has that Healthcare!) but my knowledge of global politics is poor. More research would be needed.
