Valentine's Day can be an avalanche of heteronormative/cisnormative propoganda flung in your face. Curious how all of you, as someone on the LGBTQ spectrum, relate to the holiday and marketing leading up to it?

Single or in a relationship, I don't celebrate Valentine's day. Why celebrate it one day a year?

I try to celebrate being single, but it is a tough day. They throw so much darn advertising out there that is hard to ignore. I just try to focus on other things.

Since, it has been rare having a partner around that holiday, I choose to ignore the holiday all together. Maybe, in future when I meet that special man or woman and we are together during it I will put more thought into it.
