I've seen them grown in cultivated beds here in NW Kansas, called moonflowers because of their night blooming habit. I think I was vaguely aware they are toxic but that may just be my thinking that any plant is toxic until I KNOW differently. It does grow in pastures and along roads some but doesn't seem to be abundant. WON'T put any in my yard though.
