the shows won't be starting until July/August but I did enjoy the food. Wolfgang Puck's makes a great prime ribeye. Now that some of the other dining places are opening, next trip I'm going to try some of the other places.

@glennlab I haven't had a great prime rib in years (decades?) so that's notable, but bummer about the shows.

@Lauren I had to try 6 or 7 places before I found the best one, Some places tried to open with a full menu, so the quality went down, since they were using cheaper grades of meat. Wolfgang's opened with a very limited menu and stayed with the same grade of meat. The menu used to be 4 pages, now it's an 8.5 x 14 on one side. We'll have to see about changing that no great steak streak

@glennlab We will! I admire your spirit in tracking down the best. I guess if it's honed down to the excellent stuff then a limited menu is worth it... but geez.

Silly me drove almost 1000 miles on Saturday, so I wouldn't hit rush hour traffic in DFW not realizing it was Sunday when I would hit DFW. Retirement does have some drawbacks, but I'll live with them.

@MichelleGar1 Normally I would have deposited my excess cash at the credit union just down the road from the casino, but it was closed Sat and Sunday, so I really didn't feel comfortable doing any sightseeing on the way back.

@glennlab Gotcha, I wouldn't want to sightsee with a lot of cash on me too!

It's different, but hot is still hot. I was longing for Barton Springs or the San Marcos river.

@glennlab What has been bad down here for the last three Summers is the humidity has been much higher than normal or what we have been used to.
