Before Covid I used to keep a bag of granola bars in my car so I could give them a few and a couple of buck's.

I used to give out food partially to avoid paying for mouthwash which is dangerous for them to drink but also because I can go to stores that are cheaper than the ones they have access to on foot. After covid started I started giving out MacDonald five dollar gift cards. I seldom have real money so that's not my choice anyway.

I gave $5 to one and my friend told me that he was just going to use it to get drugs. So I confronted him and asked where he could get drugs for $5.
