Pretty hard to teach kids that their conciousness will cease to exist and they will be blasted out into space. Kind of tends to make them cry
It's all about how you explain it to them. If you say it like you just did, ya, it could confuse them and maybe even make them cry. However, if you instead answered a child's question about what happens when we die by telling them that we become part of the circle of life until one day we will all become stars then most will understand and think it's awesome. It's better than telling them we go to a party in the clouds with our invisible sky daddy for sure!
@Enlightened420 I suppose, but I don't see how that is any less of a lie. It's pretty unlikely that our atoms will end up back in a star. It's much more likely they will drift off into space; getting further and further apart until the heat death of the universe.
Also what is this "circle of life" stuff?
