The Phoenix summer sun will smack your butt big-time if you wear black during the day! Some do, & more power to them, but I have seen a very big difference in heat transference when I wear black during the day.

That must be one of the advantages of altitude. I live in southern NM and wear black tops all the time and it is no different than any other color
