Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I don't know of anyone that uses the word "colored" anymore. Except one guy that made a joke saying "I'm not racist, I have a colored TV". Other than in history books or something, never heard anyone use that word.

There's no pure race, anyway. We're all mutts & our ancestors all came from Africa. Deal with it!

A few years ago, a neighbor stopped by to inquire about thepeople who had purchased the house next to mine. Her first question was, "What kind of people are they?"
"Human, I assume." I replied
"No. I mean, are they white or are they colored?"
My first thought was, "Who the Fuck says "colored" any more? I replied, "I don't know, and I don't care. Good people are good people." She backpeddled furiously. But in the end, the joke was on her. They were neither. Izzy and Anna were a lovely couple from Puerto Rico, and wonderful neighbors.
