I remembered a&p well. Remember plaid stamps oh, and my mom would wear rollers in her hair and make me go to the grocery store with her. I did everything I could to stay in a different aisle at all times.

Other than walking to school by myself, it was the first place I was
ever allowed to go by myself.
I also remember Plaid Stamps. Between my mother and grandmother, there
were books and books of them around the house.
