My Mom took tones of pictures when we were all "dolled up" for our High School Grad.
It wasn't until the next day, when we were going to bring the roll in to get developed, that we realized that there was no film in the camera.
D'oh!

After vacation, depending on how many rolls of film you had, having to ask for developing only then check the negatives and only order prints for the ones that might look good.
