The last paragraph smacks of Christian judgement, intolerance, unforgiveness and brainwashing of children... part of why she fled to California?
Why weren't the children raised by their father, Dennis?
I wonder what Kathleen's side of the story was...

Having such hatred for your own mother must really eat away at you. I don't think posting such a nasty obituary is the way to resolve it.
