Was living in CT in Blizzard of 78'...roads closed and tickets handed out unless you were 4 wheel drive or emergency or snowmobile...boss calls me up at 9 in the morning wanting to know why I wasn't at work...told him I didn't own a 4 wheel drive and if he would pay the ticket and any insurance increase I would happily come in to work...fucker hung up and left me hanging...how rude???
It'll be spring when he finally gets the car dug out!
I had that when I lived in Cleveland OH. My boss hated when people arrived late and left early because of the snow. I never missed a day because of snow but drove in hairy conditions. In the US, I do not get the no snow tire thing. With snow tires you can actually move and brake.
