Same here... hate those damn things. WHY just why did they make those, did they have any fucking clue what would be the results on the other end, obviously not.
Have you tried amber shades or visor?
@Captnron59 I don't have implants. I have noticed it more from badly adjusted halogen lights than I have with LEDs. The amber is supposed to cut out the blue...same as the eye shield against ultraviolet light when the dentist is setting the amalgam in your teeth after a cavity filling.
@FrayedBear agree with your that in many cases it's badly aligned lights, and not necessarily LEDs. Halogens can be pretty freaking bright too.
But also - visors are not always useful, and driving at night with eye shields (sunglasses??) or anything that obscures normal vision doesn't seem all that safe.
Properly aligned lights or just not super bright headlights would probably the safer.
I'm not sure what the fascination with crazy-bright headlights is all about or who thought if would be a good idea to put them in every car...but it seems to be the trend.
@scurry I am getting to the point when I do not like night driving no matter what the approaching headlights are!
@FrayedBear I can understand that. It's certainly less pleasant than on a nice sunny day.
