When I first started collecting memes, I didn't have a clue how to create a classification system for the +5,000 religion related memes I was about to find online for the next decade.
@WonderWartHog99 People made fun because I collected penguin figurines but I'm just a hack compared to you. Do you have them all cataloged now?
@SiouxcitySue I am not sure I can live long enough to catalog them now. Want me to mail you a few DVDs of them so you can take a wack at it?
@WonderWartHog99 Thanx for your kind offer, but I believe this, too, will pass so prefer not to spend time on these particular subjects.
Maybe they were "lost" for a reason.

@WonderWartHog99 . You actually have indexed libraries of memes? My photos are indexed by calendar. How do you do yours?
@OldGoat43 Originally, I indexed my travel pictures by date. Now I index all pictures and memes by topic. The catch is how to sub-index the topics. For example, I start out with a religion folder, create a new one about Jesus when that folder gets too large with a second folder about Islam and as new sub categories appear, so do new folders and sub folders.
I'm too cheap to hire a librarian to sort it all out for me.
