@NHjulie I see a 7.3 point spread with disapproval ahead....and it's been the same since May 2018.

Sure....the DJT supporters are hard-headed and strong-willed...and the opposition is - well - getting tired of being the opposition. I hope that doesn't change the votes in 2020.

BTW; All presidents polled more popular at this time than Trump. Trump is by far the lowest in history.

@Robecology I looked at the graphs estimating with best fit lines from the beginning. The trends appear to be approval up and disapproval down. I truly don't understand. Everyone keeps saying how great the economy is and that's why he's doing well. I don't see it. Nothing is being done about the debt and deficit. It will have to be paid back eventually. That's what is supposed to be happening when the economy is "booming". Interest rates are up, prices are up partly due to his tariffs. The piper will need to be paid, but nobody is talking about it.
