Scotty was the only redshirt that didn't die.
I take that back, he was killed by then revived by that satellite called Nomad the Enterprise encountered. I believe the episode was titled The Changeling.

There was actually one "red shirt" who never did die .... Uhura...

@Lizard_of_Ahaz that's right, I can't believe I forgot about that fine lady.
Not to split hairs, but Uhura actually wore a dress style uniform.

@RobertMartin And played a glorified telephone operator... They had a token Black woman, a token, Russian, a token Asian, and a token Alien...

@Lizard_of_Ahaz right, but Gene Roddenberry had a vision about a future where skin color and nationality did not matter. People of all ethnicities and nationalities live and work together.

I have most of the Startrek episodes from all the series and the movies as well... It was a joke dating back to the 1960s' (at least with my friends and I)that if someone was wearing a red shirt you knew who was going to die in that episode but a week or two later they would be back with a different name and another red shirt...

There was a line in, "Star Trek: Into Darkness", where Kirk tells some crew members
to "put on the red shirts".
I knew they were gonna die.
