The people who use the word "fuck" instead of the word "the" aren't the brightest bulb in the marquee. If almost every sentence has a swear word, people aren't going to pay much attention to you. There's a burn out point on vulgarity when it becomes clear their command of adverbs and adjectives is limited.
The "study" uses a lot of "maybe" instead of hard numbers. Therefore I'm willing to dismiss it as fluff for those who need justification for frequent swear words.
@OldMetalHead Do those studies have graphs on "perceived honesty"?
