I don’t. Too many people don’t control their dogs and some of us don’t like them. I have had dogs charge at me barking and baring their teeth putting me in fear for my life and throat being ripped out only to have the owner mildly say, oh he won’t bite you, no need to be scared. Too late! I am already terrorized, have my knife out and almost stabbed your dog in the head.

Also too many don’t pick up after them and you have to constantly watch where you walk or step in a pile of dog poo.

@Killtheskyfairy I’m sorry you’ve had that experience with dogs. I know some owners are not responsible. I had such a wonderful experience in Canada when I was there in 2016, and loved that dogs were everywhere with their people, so that’s why I liked the idea.

@Redheadedgammy in a perfect world of responsible pet owners, it would be nice to have your pets with you. Unfortunately we don’t have it.
