I’ve heard this in a hospital emergency room. It’s very disturbing, but when I asked my nurse what was going on, she said “oh he’s in here at least once a week and thinks if he screams loud enough we will give him the drugs he wants”. 
WOW, I feel for everyone in the emergency room!!

I have been around emergency rooms most of my teen years. My mother was the head nurse in several hospitals, not at the same time. One can learn much about people, what they will do to each other, and how they can be so helpful other long stories.
