I'm coming to believe that the emotions of Republicans are so shallow that they really can't comprehend how devastating the death of a child is ... maybe not even their own child. They just fake a tear and blather something about seeing them in heaven. Their wife dies because she couldn't get a life-saving abortion? Oh well. It was god's will. It must be so superficial to be loved by one of them.

@SeaGreenEyez I heard an interview where a number of abortion providers talked about performing abortions on women who were anti-abortion, some had even protested outside of their clinic, and how they had an "I hate you" chip on their shoulder during the entire procedure (and denied having it after it was done), and it boggled my mind that these people could compartmentalize like that. In retrospect, I wish the medical community would just refuse care to these women ... it's petty, I know, but why do they deserve our beneficence?
@SeaGreenEyez Wowza. Serious issues going on there, although I think birth control is next on the agenda, so it may be moot. But I can totally understand how you feel. There's a point where compassion can't be more important than boundaries. Still, I'm sorry about your lost friendship.
