This group is about control, not banning all guns, and proper storage is a big part of that.

@MikeFlora I am not out to take all guns. I know you know I want reform and weapons of mass destruction removed. But I think we should have a bit more required to have a gun, like mental background and criminal checks. Japan does not ban all guns, but they have more control than we do.

@AntaresRose Show me where in the Constitution it says that you need a back ground check and an interview with a head shrinker before you can own a weapon of your own choosing.

@Logician Show me where it says in the constitution anyone can own any weapon. When the constitution was written, you might be able to fire off 3 rounds in a minute. They could not fathom a rifle that will shoot 30 rds in about 4 seconds. Jefferson said that the constitution should be edited every 25 years (or whatever it was).

@TheGreatShadow You've got it backwards! The Constitution doesn't grant us ANY rights at all! It states that our Rights come from Nature and Nature's God! Then, it states what those Rights are. You need to study the DOI and the original Constitution, the one from 1789, NOT the replacement one from 1869.
And Jefferson didn't say a damn thing about editing the document every 25 years, he said that a revolution was needed about every 20 years or so to keep the government honest and straight! Yeesh!! It doesn't take very much effort to get a good education, over playing video games all day.

Liberals are NEVER about truth, they lie and cover up stuff all of the time because truth destroys their arguments for stupid laws we don't need. So what if toddlers have shot more people than terrorists? Where is the connection between parents being irresponsible with their gun storage habits and terrorists? I don't see it! It's just a ploy to further a bad argument which is based upon a lie, which is that guns are bad and need to be taken away from the ones who would resist government tyranny. I think it was TJ who said
that guns are our liberty teeth.
