This has been around for a long time. Movies are rated more about their nudity than their violence. People want to see action and that usually means violence. Maybe everyone is so frustrated with what's going on they need an outlet. Of course we all know how the prudish Christians feel about sex. Go ahead and shoot up the world just don't even talk about sex (maybe because they feel they are not getting any).
