Again and again, it's about pro-action not reaction. It takes a certain awareness and concern to adapt one's ability to be pro active and many are simply not willing to go there. My dad's motto was the one that says if it's not broken then don't fix it! His car was a mess, broken windshield, leaking/burning oil, dents, rust but it still ran. He was simply too lazy (or busy) to bother with the little stuff. In this case big money is also involved.

This is only a part of the situation and doesn't address the problem of a country awash in easily obtainable highly lethal weapons.

I have been dealing with these unfortunate situations and issues on a personal level for the past 2 years now, and will be giving more commentary on this at a later time.

I'm going to say this again. Maybe they'll put it on my grave stone.

THERE IS NO PLACE FOR GUNS IN A CIVILIZED SOCIETY

I believe this approach ALSO needs to be taken, but some form of gun & mod control has to be implemented too.

And none of them have anything to do with why we need these things ... a country awash in easily obtainable highly lethal weapons.
