If you Plan to Attend a Protest:

PLEASE READ! If you plan to march at a protest rally, (Especially those who haven't done this before):

1. Lock down your social media profiles BEFORE the March because you are likely to be filmed and crowds will be infiltrated with moles who will also taking photos and be filming so that they can ID and stalk you later.
2. wear sunglasses and/or a bandanna so that your face is harder to ID with facial recognition software
3. do not speak to people you don't know and do not take the bait and get in arguments if you are heckled and taunted from the sidelines. Remain silent. Your presence itself is your voice.
4. Media from both sides will be there. Unless you have a pre-prepared statement, don't talk to them or answer questions. Your words WILL be twisted, guaranteed.
5. Bring clear bags with food, usually, backpacks and purses are not allowed for security reasons, and you will likely not be able to obtain food anywhere.
6. Expect that there will be almost nowhere to use bathroom facilities, and plan accordingly.
7. Lines for transportation to and from these events will be insane and you will likely have to wait hours, so plan accordingly.
8. There will be an inadequate number of trash cans and you will need to bring something where you can carry any food wrappers or water bottles back with you. If they are discarded on the sidewalk or overflow trashcans, conservative news media will call you irresponsible dirty litterbugs
9. Either carry your signs home or lay them on the sidewalk in designated areas after the march is done; again, news media will call the piles of signs trash even though you are supposed to leave them on the sidewalk in designated areas for the city to pick up. Anything to make you look bad they will do and say.
10. Obviously, you will want your March to remain peaceful. Try to utilize the sidewalks and not the streets unless the streets have been permitted and closed off.
    Do not heckle or troll the opposition.
    Ne aware that there may be troublemakers who belong to other groups who want to cause trouble.
    Do not respond to them or lash out either verbally, or physically.
    If you are anywhere near someone who is trying to vandalize property or start a fight, put your hands in the air, up high, and get back away as fast as you can. Keep your hands up until you are quite far away.
    There are cameras everywhere and if the police try to do another mass arrest of innocent people who are just standing about gawking or filming the incident, you need clear proof that you weren't involved.
    Co-operate with all law enforcement as much as possible, and speak to them respectfully.

I've never marched for anything before because in australia we don't really do that kind of thing unless it's work related but I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable day. ??

Will be in Phoenix wearing my t-shirt from this site! I will not start anything, but will not put up with B.S. from some inbred peckerwood. They can challenge me if they want, but I am an articulate Vet, tho disabled I'm not worried. I've inhaled tear-gas before, but doubt it will come to that.

I live in a very rural gun totting WY town, I don't if there will be anything here, but I will march in spirit with each march. I just wish that civil discussion could happen, but wall go up the minute the subject is brought up. I have hear of opposing marches so every stay safe Please.
