We have a new member ArtemisDivine. She is also a member of the Conservative Atheist group, so she is going to be on the opposite side of what we believe, so as as she is civil in presenting her opinion, we need to be civil when we present our side. Everybody is entitled to their opinion, just because you don't agree with it, we still need to respect it.

Welcome ArtemisDivine!
So far discussions here have been very reasonably and respectful. I welcome respectful discussions with those with opposite viewpoints from my own as it helps me to gain a better understanding of my position.
I will however say as that I have mostly experienced the very opposite of respectful discussions. This happens on online forums. One specifically that was started as an "open" discussion forum but was overrun by rightwing hate leading up to and particularly validated after the destructive events of November 2016.
As a group I suggest we all work to maintain civility and respect.

I think it is in retaliation for me posting on conservative atheist group. They rip me to shreds, so that's why I said be civil to her because she's going to post stuff to try to get a rise out of us, So I think we should be as nice as can be so she's the one that get's the rise
