The rise in solar power, electronic vehicles and more. Baby steps yet significant. EVERYONE is talking negatively, why not seek out some good news? Am not an ostrich yet looking at alternative perspectives with a margin of hope. AWARENESS, demonstrations and the best uses of technology vs the worst are out there. [signalscv.com]
Several years ago the county and especially our island did a big push for solar. I had 10 panels installed and now see them everywhere. However, the problem arose that we were supposed to get rebates over a 6 year period. What we were not told is that the rebates were from a specific fund. The fund only had so much money and there was such a large number installing solar the fund was not enough. We all lost money in the end and I estimate it cost me an additional 5 grand. Still, over a long time period it may be returned but if not I find it still worthwhile.
