Why is that theory in the singular. If you prove one there could be others and why ridiculous? - only after it is disproved.
@Mcflewster Its ridiculous because time doesn't start or stop, and space can not be created.
@gater It can alter speed can it not in which case it should be able to stop?. That is a question not a statement of fact
@Mcflewster Time is a constant, it does not slow down or speed up.
I was interested to find out that the term "Big Bang Theory" was coined by its detractors prior to the discovery of the the cosmic microwave background radiation predicted by the theory.
