I would hear this song over the PA system in the mornings and know that my night shift was almost over and I could go to high school, then off to my girlfriend's apartment before going back to work again. The stuff you do when you are 18 years old.

My French, nympho girlfriend did not believe you should sleep in a bed, it was for more important things. From Sunday night to Friday morning I would sleep for maybe 4 or 5 hours, usually half hour cat naps, by Friday morning I would be hallucinating and would sleep for 20 hours straight.
@Surfpirate When I was 17 I worked in a grain elevator in the Tejas Panhandle. At peak I was working 148 hours a week at straight time of 2.10 an hour and thought I was becoming rich. Then Ray-gun showed up a couple of years later and took it all away
@zorialoki Ronny took it away before you died. lol I was making $11.78/hr with shift premium and the Canadian dollar was at par or a little above the Greenback, socialism sucks. lol
