I spent the most of the day on the Music Hwy, from Memphis to Nashville. Mostly listening to folk music from the peace and love days, as well as Billy Joel and Elton John. Than this song came on and spoke to me in a profound way.
Jim Croce was a part of our home when I was young. It reminds me of my daddy, who died several years ago, but I still miss terribly. My mother sang along with this song as we rolled down the highway today. Every lyric was relevant to me.
