There is or was a place to wonder WHY
yet not as much as once
who, or where, when, what, and how,
MATTER MORE (20 ms), in the future
there's a file in my head
it says 'I do not know'
why ask why
Some mysteries are okay
and sometimes is it simply not my business
Why is for children
(So is hell- so they sing...)
Let's fix the damn problem
not dissect it to death
Why did she leave him?
OR, Why did he kill himself?
Why does it matter, really
I don't pretend to know...
Why speculate, it's over,
move on.
Now THE WHY our planet IS in trouble!
That is an OBVIOUS WHY,
more easily addressed by asking WHO
and answered by same and HOW:
(Kick ass and take names, this I know;
then I have pen in hand to write the WHOs).
SO, Who are you?
Should I care?
What do I know?
Where are we going?
How does it sit with you?
Well, I hope... if not then-- when, soon?
