This morning it’s a piece of music by Tchaikovsky I’m posting because it’s beautiful, and I have heard it played many times as a run-in piece in the atmospheric build-up to a-ha’s appearance on stage at their live concerts. It has me intrigued as to why, but can’t find an answer other than to think it’s a favourite piece of music of Magne, Morten and Pal...who all studied classical music prior to their pop careers. As a-ha is a Norwegian band I’ve appropriately chosen The Norwegian Chamber Orchestra to perform Tchaikovsky’s - Serenade For Strings, Opus 48 - 1st movement.
