This version gives me all the emotion and power of the song that can be felt even not knowing the words because ... that voice! This is now my favorite rendering of it.

We’re singing it in our concerts…second one is tonight. We have a guest soloist …a new young Irish tenor who sounds great …we the choir supply the chorus. It’s one I’ve sung in various choirs over most of my life and I sometimes get a bit sick of it, but certainly Andrea Bocelli singing it is pure class!
@Marionville It absolutely is pure class - and so enthralling! And how exciting for you - or at least I hope the guest tenor breathes new life into it for you. I hope you enjoy the spirit of it tonight.
@Lauren I’m just home after a great concert…the tenor was excellent.
