Russian who has superstar status...was awarded People’s Artist Of The USSR in 1991, the highest honour an artist can be awarded by the State.

she has a lovely voice and sings beautifully. I immediately place the era as early ‘80s because of her ’big hair’ ... back then it was the rage for women to have their hair ‘permed’ to fluff out the curls and have the silhouette as big as possible ... think Diana Ross as example.

I’d say it was the 70s or 80s, she was born in 1949. Was one of the top artists in USSR...see my comment above.

Feels thirties to me but not the piping backing which is more like early hammond organ stuff. A million rose in a bathtub was had by someone once.

She wasn’t born in the 30s....probably singing this in 70s or 80s.

@Marionville I realised that, hence the Hammond Organ comment.
