Looks like I'm in for a little confrontation tomorrow. The nursing home where my father is has reopened for visitation this week; 2 visitors a week.
My mother went yesterday, booked me for Thursday, but informed me I would be refused entry if I didn't produce a flu vaccine certificate (this is what they told my Mum). So I'm thinking "Oh fucking really? Think I'll test that one."
So tomorrow I will go and if refused;
- Demand to see the boss
- Demand they put in writing I had been refused visitation
- Demand to see under what authority they are refusing me access to my father, in writing
- I will inform them this policy will be challenged.
It is my firm belief they are bluffing and have no authority to deny access, demanding visitors first obtain medical certificates. I do not work there and we are paying those pricks for a service; care. So I intend to have a bit of fun tomorrow.
Let you'se all know how I go.
PS if they get too cocky or attempt to intimidate me, I will ring the police and inform them they are refusing access to my father yet refuse to show me under what authority, so get your arse here quick before I hit someone.
