The Murray River is FULL to the brim.
There is WATER starting to flow into the Menindee Lakes Water Storage Scheme for the FIRST time in over 5 years, the Darling River has a bit of water in it where just a year ago it was bone dry in 90% of the places,
From below Bourke and the Cotton Farms townships and Graziers, etc, were CARTING in water to drink, wash and water their livestock all the way along the Darling down to Wentworth and NOW, the Crow-eaters want the Gates opened at Lake Menindee OPENED up to the MAXIMUM because they want MORE water for their precious Vineyards in the Riverland and, probably, to keep their pretty little Parks, Oval and Lawns at home green.
Oh, let's NOT forget that they ALSO want the water from the Darling River to used to FLUSH out the Mouth of the Murray River which keeps silting up BECAUSE THEY stuffed up the place to start with.
Hey you greedy, self-centred, imo, Crow-eater Numb-nuts, FYI, the Darling RIVER JOINS the Murray RIVER at Wentworth in NEW SOUTH Wales, it runs for at least 75% of its length THROUGH Western New South Wales, an area that supplies YOU Lot with the Lamb, etc, that YOU eat, the Mines at Broken Hill POURED Billions of Dollars into the Coffers of Sth. Australia, N.S.W. and the Federal Government for almost a CENTURY and a half.
They paid for and BUILT the Silver, Lead and Zinc Smelters at Port Pirie and enabled the massive growth and Employments in Pt. Pirie for over 60+ years.without us you'd still, probably, be a little State with very little to offer.
So keep your GREEDY mitts off of OUR water.
