I'm beginning to loathe this ass hole almost as much as I loathed John Howard, and believe me that's setting the bar high (or low) in my estimation. Curse Australians for voting him back in. Curse them for doing it again next election. In their uncritical minds he's a 'good bloke' and not too smart, so he'll do. Worse he's a 'good Christian' they think, even if religion has nothing to do with their lives, most of them.

Mind you I'm hoping that there will be extreme backlash following the charging of the Hillsong walla & the failed allegations against Porter. To say nothing of the war hero's trial.
@FrayedBear These dudes have been busted in the US for crimes too, and it doesn't make any difference. They cry to Jesus for forgiveness, and the faithful believe them. Christians have an amazing inability to distinguish between genuine contrition and an act to get them back into the grift. I wouldn't expect a backlash.
