No, to your second question about the federal election. Australians vote on all kinds of ridiculous reasons but not that. But let's be honest NSW has always been a corrupt state, both parties. All that convict blood, if you ask me.

On corruption - very true since 1788.
Federally - more fool Australian citizenry.
it's a toss up between N.S.W. , Queensland and Victoria which State deserves the title, going on past history, not the present, it'd be a close race between Victoria and Queensland I'd reckon.
