No, we need a multiparty system that reflects society, and parties that don't just pander to big business, big unions, big media, and noisy special interests, and specifically a Labor party with a real reform and progressive agenda like Whitlam, not a me-too centre right party like the Hawke- Keating farce.
@David1955 Au politics is a zebra, you have blue stripes and you have maroon stripes. with the rare and occasional green strip. These stripes have different attributes , but still belong to the zebra which we call corruption, evil and the mafia.
All parties rely on donations and fund raising where politicians lunch with prospective donors for a hefty fee.
It is true in real life that "YE WHO PAYS THE PIPER CALLS THE TUNE"
As long as we have partys instead of independent locally funded politicians , we will have corruption.
We need more Teals. We don't need Albo the arsehole or Dutton the disaster
