The areas with water are so full off algae that they have sod all oxygen left suffocating its inhabitants, toxic and large areas that don't have water at all because of gross water miss-management.

You reckon the Murray has it bad?
Try the Darling from Cubbie Station down to Wentworth, it's as dry as a dead Nuns Twat, and where there are rapidly shrinking 'pools' of water left, they are toxic, full of blue-green algae and stagnant as well, all bar 1 of the Great Menindee Lakes Water Storage are dry as a bone too.
All of this is BECAUSE of the Governments who gave carte blanc to the Cotton and Rice Growers like Cubbie Station to SUCK as much water as they liked from the river and its tributaries and whenever they felt like it.
We have had 3 massive Fish Kills since the beginning of summer, at least 2-3 MILLION fish dead including Murray Cod estimated to be at least 100+ years old, though very few of those bloody nuisance, introduced European Carp have died because those mongrel fish could survive in bowl of filthy dishwater.
The Murray-Darling Management Authority, the Governments and The Cotton and Rice Cockies NEED to be held to count, strung up on a barbed wire fence and flogged with a stock whip in my opinion, the Darling River IS the Life-blood of Far Western New South Wales, everyone out here relies upon it 100%, it has NEVER been this dry and dead in living or past memory.
So PLEASE stand up and Fight tooth and nail for the Darling River and the Menindee Lakes Storage Scheme BEFORE they vanish forever.

It is not the answer for these fish but may help other species in the future - simply make every human that has directly contributed to this extinction equally extinct. Do we we need them?
