It certainly doesn't help that the Attorney-General is Christian Porter.

In his Wikipedia entry Christian Porter is quoted "I am not particularly religious".
He comes from a very Liberal Party background of his father & grandfather.
@FrayedBear I admit … I was alluding to his given name.
@PontifexMarximus His choice to keep it says a lot against him. Like the old saying "you can choose your friends and thus be known by them. You cannot choose your parents only distance yourself from them and their indoctrination!"
@FrayedBear One of the requirements' for entering the Liberal, as far as can remember that is, is that ONE must be either a staunch Catholic OR an ACTIVE Church member.
@Triphid Are you sure you're not talking about tbe Masons?
I wouldn't know because I was thrown out of the English equivalent of the young liberals when I was 18 and so never bothered joining the senior party. I also declined the Masons when it was suggested that I join them 20+ years ago.
