@MsDemeanour When I first came most Australians had never travelled 50 klms from their birth place.
As much as I dislike him I don't think he is stupid enough to use those words and I can't find anywhere else that those words are reported. Anyone with half a brain can see rampant racism in aussie, just the whole deaths in custody issue points to similar racist attitudes and culture. To paraphrase morrison I believe he expressed thankfulness to be living here although we have our problems.
