Some little scribbles I’ve found in a sketch book whilst tidying, I thought they might make someone else smile too 
I wrote this after overhearing some young men in a corridor, whilst trying to sleep in a London backpackers:
Bitches
We’ve been bitches a long time
We do what scratches out itches
If you can’t come along and play nice
You’ll be the one that we ditches.

After moving out of the path of someone and being accused of being racist:
I give you a bit of space
And you get up in my face
Trying to make me feel a disgrace
Because of a mistake
This hurts more than you know
And the next day I go
Back to the West of the river
Acknowledge the traditional owners
Try to make up for not shaking your hand
Offering a coffee and giving you space to air
Your many hurts that ended up landing
In my day, in a saddening way.
