Just put my novel on Amazon. Don't want to be a gratuitous advertiser, so, well, not giving out the title or my real name. It is something I don't really believe, but the story allowed for characterization. A story of friendship reestablished after a tense break down of friendship and trust - but - one dies and returns a ghost to ask for help. And, no, i don't believe in ghosts, but they make for a good story. I hope.

@Beowulfsfriend Can I ask how you navigated Amazon's query of how you were going to pay tax on royalties? I "published" two books on Amazon several years ago which immediately disappeared into oblivion because they caught me out on the tax question and froze my account because my answers weren't to their liking. The conversation went: Them "Where are you intending to pay tax?" Me "New Zealand" Them "Where were you born?" Me "United States" Them "Where was your father born?" Me "United States" Them "What is your citizenship?" Me "United States and New Zealand" Them "Well it seems to us you should be paying tax in the United States and until you do..." End of story. The fact that my mother was New Zealander, had brought me to NZ when I was 5, and that I'd lived in NZ over 50 years by then didn't come into it. I have not seen penny one of any sales, and one of the books has disappeared altogether.

Huh. I signed something that I would deal with all taxes. They will not do anything. So, I don't know. I'm not even sure if my friends overseas will be able to kindle it and I'll have to send them copies. Weird. They may have changed.
@Beowulfsfriend -- In this thread you may promote until you get dizzy or other members run you off. The only time I'll get a little torqued is if it really is too much, is in bad taste, or is really against the site's policies.
