After 5 years /15k hours, i would like to write up my observations about debating atheists and it's not pretty. As an anti fundamentalist atheist, i argue against other atheists by going after their rhetoric. What i have found are overwhelming trends of atheists that are just as irrational/defensive/willfully ignorant as the theists they oppose. We debating atheists are mirroring theists . There's so many details i'm just focusing on making an outline at this point.

My point is that the confident atheist/agnostic doesn't deal in rhetoric, just facts that can be proven. By all logic the onus is on the positer of the existence of a god to posit believable proof (of its form, its whereabouts, its purpose, its intentions).
You have apparently identified your topic, but I think you might be well advised not to pursue it. There doesn't seem much to be gained by critiquing those who offer up counterarguments to arguments presented by others regarding something nonexistent. How much can one say about two people arguing over the contents of an empty box?

How does one debate an absence?
There can be many debates on myths, starting out with setting parameters such as supernatural powers and character. But to debate with theists you need to accept the premise of a myth.
No myth means there's nothing to debate.
All one can do is infuriate them by not accepting their myths and pointing out anomalies.
