Hi, I'm a published writer (three novels from small presses) and one of the things I've found helpful is Authors Publish Magazine (authorspublish.com) which comes free in your email (once you subscribe) and sends regular updates on markets, plus you can obtain some free publications, such as publishers who still accept unaccented submissions. There's also some other sites for markets, although some require membership fee. Ralan's Webstravaganza (ralan.com) is a free site with market lists, mainly for science fiction/fantasy/horror publications, including pro, semipro, and nonpaying magazines, specialized anthologies, etc.
