1. A lot of people in the Middle East, Africa and Asia are flocking to Norway, Denmark and Sweden which are better societies because it is closer and easier than crossing the Atlantic to come to the U.S.
2. Illegal immigrants are flocking from Central America and Mexico to the U.S which is a better society because it is much easier to cross the border - no ocean, no boat, no airplane - just walk to the border.

@St-Sinner Also the likelihood of being killed for not paying someone off is somewhat lower here than in their own country. Also the possibility that a meal will be available, and their church will actually help them. Maybe even a job of some kind, any kind, so their children can grow up and not have to eat pure starchy vegetables just to have something in their bellies. You know, our government purposely involved the US in the internal politics of all the central American countries many many years ago, remember the Iran-Contra situation(?) and when we got what we wanted just walked away.

CIA has been meddling in many countries affairs in Asia and Africa. So why not airlift millions of starving children and mothers from there?

Why is it when this issue comes up it's always the Mexican's that get a target on their back? Until recently we rarely even heard about the lower parts of Latin America. You just might want to wonder if this isn't a sign of some kind towards just how devastating things are getting from our actions. Or that it's just recently become and divide issue. I'm going with both.

Speaking of Asia and Africa, lets throw India in there also. While Mexican's make up the majority, there are still another 49% that never get mentioned! And while the graph doesn't indicate Africa, I know dam well we have immigrants from Africa. So I would imagine there are numbers somewhere of them over staying visas also. India, last time I looked it up, was the 4th largest group of immigrants. What about that 1.2 percent from SOuth AMerica we aren;t hearing about? Guess where they are from? But they being our new found friend get no mention!?! hmmmmm 2 percent of Cuba's finest elite or upper middle class fleeing a country, from a government geared more towards it;s people. crickets. So why are we just compassionate only about Central American and Mexican children and mothers? Why not airlift from other countries as well? What aren't illegal immigration supporters stepping forward? Let's bring in everybody. We do not need the legal immigration applications at Consulates any more. There's this thing called diplomacy. That thing we don't use when the global elite set their sites on monetary resources and decide to create false narratives and chaos to get. Leading to death and destruction. It's also something Trump virtually ended when he outed most of our diplomats never replacing them.
